Chairman of DPD Association of Management of Indonesia Shopping Centers (APPBI), Jakarta, Andreas Kartawinata said that based on the evaluation and examination of the P2B Agency, the construction of The Plaza Semanggi's sixth and seventh parking floors do not meet security and safety standards.

According to Andreas, the construction of walls in various parking areas in Jakarta are not thick enough so they can collapse if hit hard by a vehicle.

Andreas further explained that The Association will cooperate with building structure consultans to evaluate this matter. If confirmed by the consultants, The Plaza Semanggi shall to add steel construction and double the thickness of its walls.
